Expand the promotion of digital devices in ÜBS for education and training

Since 1 September 2018, oirganizations and companies can apply at BAFA for higher grants for the digital equipment of vocational training centers. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) has extended special support for the digitization of UAS for continuing education and training with the new announcement "Promotion of Digital Equipment in Vocational Training Centers (ÜBS) and Competence Centers" of 03.08.2018. The amount of federal subsidy on eligible expenditure is now 90%. The goal is to reach not only the specialists, but also the master craftsmen and leaders and bring digital know-how to the small and medium-sized businesses.

Promotion of digital equipment in vocational training centers (ÜBS) and competence centers

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) promotes the procurement of additional digital equipment or the modernization of existing equipment, including related investments of inter-company vocational training centers (ÜBS) and competence centers. The aim is to improve the quality of continuing vocational training of employees from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
