To achieve this goal, the federal and state governments have signed the administrative agreement for the digital pact. The Digital Pact will start on May 17, 2019. Previously, the Bundestag and the Bundesrat changed Article 104c of the Basic Law, thereby creating the constitutional basis for the DigitalPakt Schule. The new regulation has been in force since 4 April 2019.
